“I’m an accountant. I have a knack for numbers.”
It was luck that brought Kim, the keeper of the books, to Community Journals, when she responded to a post by a staffing agency after her previous employer closed.
She has worked as an accountant for several small businesses in a variety of industries, including transportation, medical rehabilitation and manufacturing.
“I’m best at helping organize and create necessary systems and procedures,” she says; traits that are much needed to temper the Journals’ high-energy and creatively-charged office environment.
When not crunching numbers and making sure the Journals runs smoothly and efficiently behind-the-scenes, the Liberty, South Carolina native enjoys spending time with her children and relaxing at home with her family.
