24 Mar Holly Hardin
“I am known for logistic powers. Give me the task, leave me alone, and watch it produce.”
After spending 18 years as a Circulation District Manager and Single Copy Sales Manager at The Greenville News–where she worked with Journals cofounder and recently retired Vice President Alan Martin–Holly has provided our company with her unrivaled work ethic for almost a decade.
She says what she’s most passionate about professionally is the opportunity to lead (we can attest she’s a natural) and undertake massive projects with “side-by-side leadership.” A genuine partner, helper and friend to all members of our staff, Holly’s gift of fellowship emerges in all aspects of her life. She spent five years as a foster mom, and she fully supports the South Carolina Foster Parent Association and those that give time to this program.
“My God is love,” Holly says, “and I believe that liberty and justice for ALL truly means all.”
When Holly’s not working, you can find her entertaining others.”I have a huge party cabana built on my house decorated like a lakeside bar. I entertain a lot; I throw parties for any occasion,” she says. “For example, when Prince William and Kate married, I threw a HUGE royal wedding party on my cabana. Most of my time is spent on that cabana with my family and friends.”
(And Holly really does mean parties for any occasion. She and her girlfriends have an annual rotten tomato fight at the end of every tomato season, though we doubt this occurs in the cabana!)
