Allen Pruitt joined Community Journals as a marketing representative working with nonprofits.

He previously worked as a regional sales manager for Community Newspapers Inc., which owns more than 30 small weekly newspapers throughout Western North Carolina and Northeast Georgia. He also served as legal coordinator/paralegal for in-house counsel at Vanderbilt Mortgage/CMH Manufacturing Inc.

Pruitt is a graduate of Lee University and an ordained minister with the Church of God.
