Ryan Gilchrest

Ryan Gilchrest is director of editorial content for Community Journals Media Group.
He oversees the reporting staff and plans news and business coverage for both print and online editions. A journalist since 1998, Gilchrest has been a managing editor for news organizations in South Carolina and Virginia for the past decade.
Over the course of his career, he has covered a wide range of topics and overseen everything from sports coverage to digital production. He joined Community Journals in 2023.
