Sherry Jackson

Sherry Jackson is chief operating officer and vice president, content. In this role, she oversees day-to-day operations for the company including HR, recruiting, digital and print content, websites and social media channels for all Community Journals Media Group publications, including the Greenville Journal, Upstate Business Journal, TOWN magazine, and atHome.
Sherry began her tenure with Community Journals Media Group in 2013 as a senior staff writer for the Upstate Business Journal. Sherry relocated to Arizona in 2016 and returned to Greenville in 2019 to rejoin the company.
An award-winning journalist, editor, and author, Sherry brings more than 25 years of writing and editorial experience to the role. She also has a strong operational and management background having worked in information technology and as an owner of several small businesses—experience that continues to inform her strategic and operational approach.
